What is Ringtone Maker?

The Ringtone Maker is a small and functional application for creating of free ringtones for your mobile phone. The Ringtone Maker can create ringtones from .mp3, .wma, .ogg, .acc, .wav and AudioCD files. The program is only 3.4 megabytes and can be downloaded for free from a number of free software sites. The interface of the program is really simple and the very process of ringtone making has only three steps and each of them is described in details, but before starting to work with The Ringtone Maker, you should enter the obtained serial number or choose to continue trial mode.

The Ringtone Maker trial mode has some restrictions on the number of ringtones which can be created with its help (it is not necessary to purchase a license to create one ringtone, but in this case you have to pay for it). The audio file is represented in a waveform, just like most audio-editing programs represent music files in order to make it easier to select the necessary part (it should be not longer than 30 seconds). You can select any part by clicking and dragging your mouse cursor on the waveform representation of your future ringtone (the selected part of the audio file will be highlighted). Now you can press the "Play" button to check whether your selection is accurate (weather you have chosen the needed part). Before pressing the "Continue" button check the length of the selected file (the ringtone should be not shorter than 5 seconds).

The final step requires a license if you want to download the ringtone. If you want to have only one, so then you can pay a few dollars only for this one ringtone, but, of course, in this case the ringtone is not for "free". If you want to use The Ringtone Maker many times, you need to pay for the license (it will be cheaper to pay for this program, because in this case you can even make ringtones for the whole family and for you friends without any restrictions in number). Then you have to type this link into your WAP/Internet browser and input the ringtone code to download it directly to your cell phone. Some alternatives may impress you with their simplicity and primitive design, but the result may be better than it is expected.
