I am almost sure that every owner of Sprint PCS cell phone at least once has thought of getting a new Sprint ringtone.
Of course, the default ones are OK, but the vast majority of Sprint PCS cell phone's users would like
to be a little bit unique and even eccentric, using new exclusive Sprint PCS ringtone.
But the situation with getting a new ringtone for Sprint phone is quite complicated, especially, if you want to download free Sprint
PCS ringtone. Recently only Sprint could offer ringtones for their Sprint phones (although not all of them support ringtones), but now the format which is used to send a ringtone is known. There is no doubt that after
hours of searching the Internet you would find some free Sprint ringtones, because there are enough free sprint ringtone web sites, which offer such service. Some sites offer a 100 of free Sprint ringtones or even
more as a bonus ringtones, if you register on that site.
As I have mentioned, not all Sprint cell phones can play Sprint ringtones, but at least Sprint cell phone ringtones work with Sanyo (some problems may
occur with Samsung phones). The Sprint ringtone file format is known as .qsp format and with the help of some special software you can create your own real music Sprint ringtones converting files
with .mp3 or .wav extensions to Sprint ringtone format. Most Sprint cell phones support also different file extensions such as .mp3, .midi and other which are quite popular (but before downloading .mp3 or
some polyphonic ringtones to your cell phone, you'd better have to check the compatibility of your Sprint cell phone with these formats).
Nearly all users prefer to create Sprint ringtones themselves,
-because it is really difficult to find something, which you will like and which will suit your needs, for example, if you want to associate some certain ringtone with a certain incoming number.
Besides, not everyone wants to pay for music he or she owns (I mean music CD, which is legally bought) to listen favorite soundtrack on his or her cell phone, which may concern a copyright problem,
but in reality this does not violate the law, because only the person, who bought a certain CD will listen to that music. Of course, if you consider yourself a good composer and own a modern Sprint PSC
cell phone, you can write your own original melody, using special software called "Ringtone Composer".
This software will automatically save the melody you created in the file format, which is compatible
with your Sprint PCS cell phone. There are different ways to download Sprint real ringtones to your cell phone, but it depends on the model.
The most popular one is to sent Sprint ringtone by SMS or MMS,
but if your phone has a USB cable, Bluetooth or support some other data transmission technology, you just have to download free Sprint ringtone to your PC from the Internet and then to your mobile phone,
which will be, of course, less expensive. Besides, in this case, you can listen to the very ringtone directly from the Sprint ringtone site and to choose the one you like, without paying for every downloaded
Sprint ringtone and then deleting them from your phone, if you don't like them. There is another way to download a self-made Sprint real ringtone to your cell phone: you can create it on your PC, and then
upload to some ringtone site, where you have to register, of course (visit, for example, this free ringtone uploader site http://www.sprintusers.com/focus ).
And then you can download this very ringtone using
SMS after having filled in the form your cell phone number (sometimes also Sprint cell phone model you own). And having confirmed the PIN code, which will be sent to you Sprint PCS cell phone, you'll get
your uploaded Sprint ringtone sent directly to your cell phone.
Of course, the very process of creating, uploading, downloading and other things you'll have to do is quite boring and in many cases difficult, but
such things as having Sprint ringtone of your favorite artist on your cell phone and being distinguished by other people are worth these efforts.
